Client - The Bat and Ball Country Pub and Haywards Restaurant
We were required to upgrade an existing data network and install a data cabinet in the pubs main office. We also installed a Unifi Wi-Fi system into the pub and to cover all outside areas. We configured the system with 3 Wi-Fi networks, Back Office, Guest and card pay machines. All 3 networks have a secure Firewall and operate independently using the same equipment.

Our customer Julie required CCTV coverage of park entrance and fields as a security measure. This was achieved via 4mp IP cameras placed around the park. Also, to supply a stable Wi-Fi solution for guests, we achieved this with Ubiquity Unifi wireless access points placed around the park. The system has 2 wireless networks 1 for the office and 1 for guests both separate from the other.

Homewood Communications has extensive experience of Installing high quality and reliable wireless technology in the larger, unusual shaped and Graded listed properties. Our wireless network solutions extend the reach of the traditional single Wi-Fi router, to a Wi-Fi system that will cover your whole home regardless of the property size and deliver increased stability and roam-ability within the property.

Homewood Communications achieves this by installing multiple wireless access points throughout the property and setting them all to appear as one unified Wi-Fi network. So, as you move from one room to another your devices automatically logon to the strongest Wi-Fi signal in that room or area. A wireless access point in most cases can be configured to run multiple Wi-Fi networks. For example, one for the family which is secure so all your family’s music and photos etc are available to all the family members. Then you can have a separate guest Wi-Fi network that is wholly isolated from your home network that will only give them access to the internet, so keeping your private information private.

For your wireless network to operate flawlessly it is always best to hard wire each wireless access point back to the main router location. However, a wireless bridge can be installed on or near outbuildings to enable them to have Wi-Fi coverage as well when cabling is not an option.
