This is an early Ercol sideboard from the 1950s - note the curved feet amongst other things. The "in progress" photos give an idea of the transformation. The final result turned out to be quite a bit better than I expected, given the original condition.

We delivered this Ercol drop leaf table back to its owner in London last week. She was very pleased - it was in very poor condition when we took it away but it turned out to be one of the nicest table tops I have seen for some time.
