Are you outgrowing your home but the thought of moving fills you with dread? 🏗️
The stress of selling. The cost of buying. The stamp duty. The removals. Leaving behind the neighbours you know, the street you love, the area your kids have grown up in.
Moving is expensive, exhausting, and disruptive — and for a lot of families it simply does not make sense when the answer could already be sitting right there in your own back garden.
An extension could give you the extra space your family actually needs without any of that upheaval. More room. Same home. Same street. Same community you already love.
Here is a small snapshot of some of the work we undertake at Weekes Building Solutions — and if any of it looks like what you have been dreaming about we would absolutely love to hear from you.
We are a trusted local team based in Plymouth working across Devon. We specialise in extensions, loft conversions, garage builds, kitchen renovations, and full refurbishments — and we bring the same high standard to every single project we take on regardless of size.
No cowboys. No cutting corners. Just honest building work done right by a team you can trust from day one.
Get in touch today for a free no obligation chat about your project. We would be delighted to hear from you. 📲🧡

Throwback Saturday. 😍🏗️
This one takes us back to a full kitchen renovation and new flooring throughout — and it still makes us smile every single time we look at it.
What made this project extra special was the customers. Easy going, trusting, and an absolute pleasure to work alongside from the very first day to the very last. Watching them see the finished result for the first time — the new kitchen, the fresh flooring running throughout the whole home — and seeing how over the moon they were made every single bit of the work completely worth it.
That reaction never gets old. Not after all these years.
A full kitchen renovation combined with new flooring throughout completely transforms how a home looks and feels — and when it is done properly by a team that genuinely cares about the details the difference is extraordinary.
This is what Weekes Building Solutions brings to every project. The craftsmanship. The care. The commitment to getting every single detail right.
If you are looking for a trusted team to undertake work at your property — whether it is a kitchen renovation, new flooring, an extension, a loft conversion, or a full refurbishment — get in touch today. We would be delighted to hear from you.

What a transformation. And what a journey this one has been. 😍🏗️💪

Our single storey extension and garage build is complete on our side — and our brilliant customers are just finishing off the last few bits themselves before it is completely done.

Watching this one progress through every single stage has been something really special. Seeing our customers go from that initial nervousness at the very beginning to the absolute joy of watching their home transform in front of their eyes — that is honestly one of the best parts of this job and it never gets old.

And that nervousness at the start is something we completely understand. Handing over large sums of money to people you do not know. Putting your trust in a team you have never worked with before. Letting strangers into your home and your life. It is a big deal. It is always a big deal.

That is exactly why trust is one of our biggest values at Weekes Building Solutions — and something we hold dearly on every single project we take on.

We turn up when we say we will. We communicate honestly at every stage. We do what we say we are going to do. We get the job done to a high standard every single time. And we build that trust from the very first day — not by asking you to take our word for it but by showing you through our actions from day one.

To our customers on this project — thank you for trusting us with your home. Watching you come to life as this build progressed through every stage has been an absolute privilege. We hope you love every single inch of it. 🧡

If you are looking for a trusted team to undertake your next project — extensions, loft conversions, garage builds, full renovations, kitchens — get in touch today. We would be delighted to hear from you.

Before any wall goes up. Before any roof goes on. Before anything you can see from the street exists — this has to happen first. 🏗️

This is a montage of all the groundworks that took place on our single storey extension and garage build — and if you have been following this one from the beginning you will know this stage had more than a few surprises along the way.

Plymcrete and the conveyor belt lorry. Twice. 😂 The slab going in. The blockwork rising. The DPM. The mesh. Every stage of the groundworks that nobody ever sees but that everything else depends on entirely.

This is the unglamorous part of any build. The part that does not make it onto mood boards or Pinterest pages. But it is without question the most important part — because get this wrong and nothing that follows will ever be right.

We got it right. Every single stage of it. 💪

This build is coming to an end now and the finished result is going to be something really special. Keep an eye out for the next update because from here it only gets more exciting.

Give this a like, follow the page so you do not miss the final stages, and share it with someone who appreciates a good build done properly. Sharing genuinely helps a small family run local business grow and we appreciate every single one of you. 🧡

From bare earth to a brand new garage. The full story. 😍🏗️💪
If you have been following this build from day one you will know exactly what went into getting here. If you are seeing this for the first time — this montage tells the whole story from start to finish and it is well worth a watch.
Cast your mind back to where this one started. The demolition of what we can only describe as the leaning shed of Milehouse. 😂 A digger through the gate with millimetres to spare — celebration cut short by the blade catching the wall. 😂 Gareth clearing waste with bags riding sh***un rather than make two trips. A Thatchers c***r crate holding up the gate post for what looked like several decades. Massive boulders under the garden wall requiring underpinning. Scorching heat that tested the energy levels of the whole team day after day.
And through every single one of those moments the team just got on with it. Adapted. Sorted every problem the right way. Kept moving forward.
And now look at it.
A brand new garage standing exactly where it should be — built properly, built to last, and something our customer is going to be proud of for years to come.
This is what Weekes Building Solutions does. This is the standard we bring to every single job regardless of what the ground — or the gate — decides to throw at us. 😂💪
A huge thank you to the whole team on this one. Every single one of you has been outstanding. 💪🧡
And to our brilliant customers — thank you for your patience, your trust, and for being an absolute pleasure to work with from day one.
Give this the biggest share you can — sharing genuinely helps a small family run local business reach more people and we appreciate every single one of you. 🧡

Whilst I have taken a little time to gather myself over the last couple of weeks the team have been doing what they always do — keeping the machine going. 💪🧡
And keeping it going is an understatement.
We have just started a brand new job right in the centre of Plymouth and week one has set the tone perfectly. No messing around. No easing in gently. Roof off. Steels up. Already starting to take shape.
That is what this team does. They show up. They graft. And they deliver from day one regardless of anything else going on around them. I could not be more proud of every single one of them. 💪
This is going to be a really exciting project to follow and we are going to be sharing every stage of it right here as it progresses — so make sure you are following the page and have notifications on so you do not miss a single update.
If you enjoy following our builds please give this post a like and share it with someone who might be interested. Sharing genuinely helps a small family run local business like ours reach more people and we appreciate every single one of you who does it. 🧡
And if you are looking for a trusted team to take on your project to a high standard — whether it is an extension, loft conversion, garage build, or full refurbishment — please get in touch. We would be delighted to hear from you.
