Our most ambitious project yet is officially underway.
What began as a straightforward garden clearance has evolved into a truly spectacular transformation.
After months of careful planning, design work and logistical preparation, the aim is to completely reimagine this frontage while creating something that feels as though it has always belonged to this beautiful Victorian property.
This project will be a showcase of traditional materials, structural landscaping, precision groundwork and craftsmanship across multiple disciplines — all brought together through detailed project management from start to finish.
The first major stages are now complete:
• Full clearance and initial excavations
• Front boundary wall footing excavated and poured
• New 9-inch masonry retaining wall underway
• Ground opened up and prepared for the next structural elevation
Approximately 1 metre behind the front wall, a further 18-inch blockwork retaining structure will rise to form and retain the upper platform, which will eventually be finished with stunning cathedral-grade Yorkstone paving.
The next stage sees us forming the shuttering and preparing the footing for this second retaining structure before the levels begin to take shape.
The difference already is enormous — but this is only the groundwork.
By the time this project is complete, the frontage will combine reclaimed-style brickwork, traditional stone, wrought iron detailing and carefully considered landscaping to create a genuine time-capsule transformation in keeping with the Victorian era of the property.
A huge amount of engineering, planning and craftsmanship sits behind what will eventually look beautifully simple.
