Due to the narrow roads and tight site access, we used one of our mini mix lorries to deliver this customers concrete, allowing us to complete the pour while keeping the road clear for traffic.

With mini mix, 6-wheeler and 8-wheeler lorries available, we can select the most suitable vehicle for each pour.

25.5m³ of Footings Pumped in Newton Ferrers with a 20m Line

Small pump line, big saving.

We only had to pump a short distance, but without the pump this pour would have meant over 400 wheelbarrow loads and several men moving concrete by hand.

Using the pump cut out a huge amount of labour, saved time on site and made the whole pour much more efficient.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at shotcrete being applied using a high-pressure lance at Kingston, just outside Modbury, as part of the newly refurbished and updated skate park on the local recreation ground.

Getting the concrete mix right is a crucial part of the process, helping achieve the consistency and finish needed for the shaped ramps and curved surfaces.

For this project, we supplied the concrete and pumping equipment, with the application carried out by the team working on site.

Down a narrow back lane in Buckfastleigh, our Mini Mix was able to get close enough to the pour to make this slab delivery straightforward.

Our chute can reach around 3m directly behind the lorry, or up to 2m at a 90° angle, depending on positioning.

A great example of how Mini Mix can make restricted-access pours simpler, more cost-effective, and avoid the need for a line pump.

A challenging location, a great team effort and one very happy customer!

This job took us down to Polperro, where we were supplying concrete for a retaining wall — and with access being a challenge, it was all about getting the right equipment working together.

A 120m line pump, mini mix trucks and our conveyor all worked together to ensure the pour ran smoothly from start to finish.
