💧☀️ With the hot weather continuing and very little rain around, water companies are asking households to be a little more careful about how much water they use.

💧☀️ It doesn’t mean stopping essential water use. Keep drinking plenty, washing your hands and flushing the toilet when needed. It is more about cutting down on the water we may be using without really thinking about it.

💧☀️ A watering can usually uses much less water than leaving a hose or sprinkler running. Paddling-pool water can often be reused on the lawn or garden, and plants are better watered early in the morning or later in the evening when the water is less likely to evaporate.

💧☀️ Shorter showers, full loads in the washing machine and dishwasher, and turning the tap off while brushing your teeth can all help too.
