It’s not very often that Plastering looks SEXY…….
But this room certainly does……. 😍😍😍😍😍
A big thanks to Jack at J.K Plastering, Harry & Andy for the great finish on this huge Garden Room ceiling at KEC’s project, in Wearde, near Saltash……
And thank goodness for the new Solar Glass installed throughout, which is remarkably keeping the room nice and cool despite the heat wave.
We’ve now completed all of the glazing, and there is certainly lots of it. The clients were very conscious of the likely solar gain on their new extensions, well before the recent heatwave. Over the last few months we spent a lot of time seriously considering their glazing options.
They opted for a special Solar Glass, but despite all the information available on the spec and product, you never quite know how it will feel, particularly on a hot day like today.
Well it’s working a treat. The guys have felt an instant difference this week and it is considerably cooler indoors than outdoors and way cooler than the conservatory that stood here before. That’s the real benefit of a proper, modern, building regulations compliant, heavily insulated extension. And the glass has made way more of a difference than we even thought it could. A great result.
