This disused chimney was letting driving rain in through the open pots, moisture getting in the cracks behind the damaged render and causing water marks and damp issue into the bedroom ceilings. ☔️

Our team completed a full hack off and rerender, sand and cement scratch coat with a gp Kmix top coat and install chimney cowls to stop water getting in through the pots! ☂️ 🔨

Our customer wanted to renew the main house roof while leaving the newer extension roofs completely undisturbed.

We carefully stripped the existing roof and installed a brand-new Spanish slate roof fixed using slate hooks, providing a durable, clean finish with excellent longevity.

To preserve the property’s original character and ensure the new roof blended seamlessly with the existing extensions, we carefully reused the original clay ridge tiles, maintaining a matching aesthetic across the entire property.

Removal of the old concrete tiles and installed new Spanish slates ✅

Due to the pitch of the roof, the slates were installed on a easy slate system and nail fixed ✅

New breathable felt membrane and treated battens complete with eave support trays, over facia vents and vented rafter roll ✅

New concrete ridge installed on a dry ridge system ✅

But now the sun is shining and scaffolding is coming down! 🔨 ☀️

Scaffolding recently come down on our Plymouth Road, Plympton project and we must admit the kerb appeal have gone through the roof with this one! ⬆️ 🔨

Graphite Brazilian slate on hooks ✅

Cockscomb ridges and matching hips installed on a dry ridge system ✅

Installed 2 velux sun tunnels to provide natural light to the customers hallway ✅

1 velux window for natural light into the customers kitchen✅
