Today’s job ⚡️

Installing 6 × Kosnic Lighting Ltd Echo 3 200W LED high-bay fittings in this commercial unit — all before the scissor lift was off-hired! 😬

Really like these fittings. They’re straightforward to install and give a great level of light across the unit.

New lighting and cabling installed, along with a temporary double socket to allow the client to get up and running straight away.

Not bad for a day’s work! 👍

Nice easy job for a Saturday ⚡️

Following a recent EICR at this nursery school, we recommended upgrading the existing distribution board with RCBOs to provide additional RCD protection to the relevant circuits.

The client was happy to go ahead with our recommendations, so we returned today to complete the upgrade. ✅

With it being a nursery, we were more than happy to carry out the work on a Saturday while the building was closed — keeping disruption to staff and children to a minimum.

A straightforward upgrade and another installation improved following an EICR. ⚡️🔧

We missed our own Birthday! 🤦🏻

We turned 9 on the 12th of September, a whole 9 years trading! Where has that time gone?

So as we missed the big day and no cake was eaten 😢 we thought we'd take the time to introduce Jaiden the latest member of the team.

Well he's been here since July but again we've been so busy we've not had chance to introduce him!

So a few facts (I've remembered) about Jaiden

1. He's a big Plymouth Argyle fan but don't let that put you off.

2. He's terrified of horses (not ideal when this week we've had 2 jobs near them)

3. he's a hard worker and takes pride in what he does, little untidy with his work area but we'll get to that.

4. Loves a pub, he can't pass a pub without saying "thats a good one" (not sure what he did with previous employers but I suspect lots of work in pubs 🤷‍♂️🤔"

So hopefully you'll all get to meet him in future.

After what seemed like a never ending start to 2026, I finally get to have some much needed time off (only taken 8 months)

10 days off then return to the run in to Christmas 😂

All 4 plots now done and dusted 👏🏻
