We do love a bit of upcycling… especially when it’s a proper “Built Not Bought” hobby shop evening project! ❤️

We’ve been scratching our heads for a while trying to come up with something different for the F100’s centre console and drinks holder… then the lightbulb moment happened while wandering around the brilliant Bogey KnightsBogey Army Surplus Store⁠! 💡

An old military ammunition tin… perfect! 💥

Strong, full of character, built to last and it suits the truck’s industrial inspired style perfectly. Best of all… it only cost £20! 👌🏼

A few hours later, this was the result…

✅ Modified and fabricated into a bespoke centre console
✅ Machined stainless steel cup holders
✅ Bespoke stainless mounting bracket
✅ Finished in tough 2K Raptor coating
✅ Charcoal fleece-lined interior to stop everything rattling around

From an old ammo tin to a one-off practical centre console in around 3 hours… proving that with a bit of imagination you can turn almost anything into something unique.

It might not all be stainless steel, but at 100% Stainless Ltd we’re fabricators at heart, and projects like this show that if you can dream it, we can usually build it! 😍👌🏼

What a fantastic day at Mount Edgcumbe car show today!! Great people and weather to match!!

Then I thought I’d do a quick photo shoot of the truck before I put it away, but Rusty had other ideas with some photo bombing!! 🤣🤣 Life with a Boxer, but wouldn’t have it any other way! 😍 I guess he’s been a big part of this build so why not!! ❤️

Then to finish off an already great day, when I returned to my truck an Illustrator called MG Sreekumar had sketched up our truck and left this on the seat 😀 I love it!! thanks Mike Gamble this will be going on our man cave wall.👌🏼

Tomorrow back to the balconies and balustrades 💪🏼
