🚿 Another bathroom wrapped up in Saltash.

This one in Pillaton has had the full works — the old bathroom was completely ripped out and rebuilt from the ground up.

The job included:
• Shower waste relocated to get the new tray down at floor level
• Full first fix plumbing and electrics
• New plasterboard and skimmed ceiling
• Tiling throughout
• Full second fix and installation
Finished off with black fittings, wall-hung WC, vanity unit and a new enclosed shower.

A big change from what was there before and a really clean finish.

🔧 This Week at Toms & Co

Another productive week at our Bigbury on Sea renovation project.

The plant room is really starting to come together, with the team completing another major stage of the heating installation. This week has seen extensive copper pipework installed, connecting the hot water cylinder, expansion vessels and underfloor heating manifold into one neatly laid out system.

A lot of work goes into a plant room that most homeowners never see, but it’s the heart of the heating system. Careful planning and tidy pipework make future servicing easier while helping the system operate efficiently for years to come.

🔨 Another Bathroom Transformation Completed – Mainstone, Plymouth

This recent bathroom refurbishment in Mainstone, Plymouth wasn't just about updating the look.

🔦 Project Spotlight – Higher Compton

A look back at one of our recent bathroom transformations in a 1930s property in Higher Compton.

This project involved the complete replacement of the existing bathroom, including the removal of an internal wall to create a brighter, more spacious layout and make better use of the available space.

The finished bathroom features:
• Large-format 600x1200 stone-effect porcelain tiles throughout
• Walk-in Eastbrook shower with brushed brass fittings
• Freestanding bath with brushed brass taps
• Lusso Stone floating vanity basin with drawer unit
• Wall-hung WC
• Brushed brass towel radiator and accessories
• Recessed perimeter LED ceiling lighting, creating a clean, modern finish

🔧 This Week at Toms & Co

This week we've been progressing the first fix plumbing on a 9-bedroom HMO conversion on Alma Road, Plymouth.

The first fix waste system is well underway, with our apprentice getting hands-on experience cutting and fitting 4" soil pipe as part of the installation.

Keeping the site clean and organised is a priority throughout every stage of the project, helping the job run safely, efficiently and keeping other trades moving.

We're pleased to be ahead of schedule and on track to meet the customer's programme.

And we certainly can't complain about the view from this one! ☀️

Next up: Completing the remaining first fix works, including the hot and cold water services and heating pipework, before moving into the second fix phase once the other trades have finished.
