My year so far, as a sole trader.
I work on my own, I can handle a vast array of projects from start to finish.
I charge £35 p/h based on a 7hr day this is £250.

I have been happily non-stop for 5 years.

3 weeks from start to finish, 12 Days on the tools.
Solo man abilities.

-250mm conceret foundation for boarder with steel in and plastic sheeting (to stop water loss in the heat) and steps done the same, with bolted ties to the house

Block boarder and soil removed to make 125mm depth of stone build up placed ontop of terram.

Compacted heavily and then slabs laied and pointed with mortar.

June has been a busy old month, patios and decorating has the majority of work completed, Time spent with the boys at Trade Bank with two patios and a set of masonry steps, then onto five rooms needing back to flat with walls and ceilings, built in wardrobes removed, then decorated from top to bottom.
A patio Extention (making great use of what was there) and I have a prodject yet to be shown!

The heat 🥵 has definitely been on and lots of long hours, moving from one job to the next making best use of the day.

5 years self employed 🥳

Meany people said they wish they had done it sooner, I am so glad I took the leap 😁

But its all the experience that lead to my journey that gave my experience. Im so greatful for all the experienced people I have worked with in my past and the awsome customer base I have built today.

I have travelled all over Devon and continue to work with customers from my very first job in Hope Cove to the new ones I have met.

I started with gardens, then decorating then onto extentions.

Before I started, I worked on high end developments, construction, landscaping, carpenty, decorating, dry lining and my own home renovations.

There not much I can't do these day's and I enjoy people handing me the key's to make there dreams.

I still do the small jobs, replacing a toilet seat, patching a hole in the wall, changing a lock, but I can't count the amount of houses I have fully decorated inside and out while fixing everything as I go.

I have worked with other people, helping solve situations and delivering prodjects from the ground of plans.

So a massive thank you 😊

To all of you that have made my journey an exiting and awsome adventure 😀
