Project Complete – Challaborough Bay Holiday Park 👷‍♂️

We were instructed to remove four existing static caravan bases after they were found to be non-compliant due to the spacing between them.

Our scope of works included:
✔️ Breaking out and removing all four concrete bases
✔️ Constructing three new reinforced concrete bases
✔️ Installing three new gravel driveways
✔️ Re-landscaping the entire area with fresh turf

The site has now been transformed and is ready for the new caravans to arrive and welcome their new owners.

Sometimes the hardest jobs are the ones you can barely get to! 😅

This one had access that could politely be described as “interesting”…

Out with the old:
🪵 Failed sleeper wall removed
🚧 Tired old feather edge fence taken down

In with the new:
✅ Front area dug out and tarmacked
✅ Brand-new sleeper retaining wall installed
✅ Proper drainage fitted behind the wall
✅ New feather edge fence installed

A lot of hard graft, a few creative ways of getting materials in and out, and one very happy customer at the end of it. 💪

Not every job is straightforward, but that’s what keeps things interesting!

Progress looking sharp on this 1889 building 👷‍♂️🏛️

• Extension demolition complete
• Waste recycled wherever possible ♻️
• Gardens landscaped and ready for seed

🔨 Totnes House – Restoration Update (Day 5) 🏡

Great progress this week on the full restoration of Totnes House, a stunning 1889 building formerly used as a Conservative Club and now being carefully brought back to life as a private family home.

This property has some fantastic original features, including arched windows, detailed stonework, and strong period character—so it’s been important to approach the works with care and respect for its history.

So far we’ve:
✔️ Removed the modern flat-roof extension
✔️ Cleared and responsibly disposed of all demolition waste
✔️ Broken out and removed a large section of the existing car park
✔️ Started reshaping the external space to create a more usable, family-friendly garden

As you can see, the site is really starting to open up, giving a much better feel for how the property will sit within its new surroundings.

The plan is to introduce lawn areas ready for summer, with further landscaping next year including patios, greenhouse, and additional garden features 🌿

A great effort from the team so far—looking forward to seeing this one continue to take shape.

Driveway Replacement – Quick & Effective Solution

We carried out a full replacement of an old, broken concrete driveway using a practical and durable approach:
• Removal and breakup of the existing concrete
• Ground re-levelling to create a solid base
• Installation of fresh stone
• Addition of a membrane to prevent w**d growth
• Installation of gravel grids to keep the stone in place and prevent movement
• Designed for excellent drainage and long-term performance
• Fence posts installed, ready for the customer to complete their own fencing
