We’ve recently completed a full electrical rewire of this beautiful old farmhouse in Calstock.

The property has a fantastic traditional character, and the lighting design has been carefully selected to complement the building, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while retaining those classic countryside vibes. 💡

From the initial installation through to the final testing and certification, every aspect of the electrical installation has been completed to a high professional standard.

Another project completed by Lock Electrical SW Ltd, providing electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and testing across Devon & Cornwall.

Been very quiet on here lately due to a huge workload, but here’s a look at a project we’re currently working on in Cornwall.

What started out as a bungalow has been transformed into a large detached property, and we’ve been carrying out a full electrical rewire throughout, including the garden and external areas.

With no gas available at the property, the electrical demand is significantly higher, so we’ve also worked alongside National Grid to have a 3-phase supply installed, helping to manage the increased loading requirements across the property.

A big project with plenty still to do, but it’s great to see everything coming together.

More photos and updates to follow as we progress.

Thoroughly enjoyed installing new festoon lighting around Polruan Quay. The old lights had seen better days and were no longer working, so it was great to bring the area back to life with a fresh new setup.

This project was funded by the local community, so we really appreciated the council trusting us to deliver it for them. A rewarding job to be part of and great to see the quay looking its best again

Tonight we worked at a local Citroën garage alongside the builders, installing new floor sockets throughout the showroom. This had to be completed out of hours to keep disruption to a minimum while the showroom remained open during the day. Great teamwork all round to get the job done efficiently.
