An old alarm doesnβt automatically mean a bad alarm.
We regularly service intruder alarm systems around Plymouth that are 15, 20 and sometimes even 30+ years old, and if theyβre still reliable, doing their job and worth maintaining, weβll tell you exactly that.
Weβre not interested in replacing equipment simply because of its age. A proper service gives us the opportunity to check the overall condition of the system, test the backup battery, detectors, sounders, power supplies and signalling where fitted, and identify anything that genuinely needs attention.
Sometimes that means carrying out a repair or recommending an upgrade, but quite often it simply means:
βEverything is working fine. Weβll see you again next year.β
Weβre also happy to take over and maintain systems originally installed by other companies, including older systems where the original installer may no longer be trading.
So if youβve inherited an alarm, havenβt had it serviced for a while or just want an honest assessment of what youβve already got, get in touch.
