Project: Sloped Gravel Pathway
Installation

We recently tackled this hillside pathway project to turn a steep, muddy slope into a clean, durable walkway. Here's a breakdown of how we did it:

* Excavation & Prep: We brought in the mini digger to excavate out the correct route, managing the slope gradient safely
* Sub-base & Edging: Set up a string line to get the correct angles, installed concrete edgers, and ran a compaction plate over the sub-base to guarantee a firm sub-base
* Ground Stabilization: To make sure the gravel never migrates down the hill, we installed an interlocking cellular grid system, custom-cut to perfectly fit the frame
* The Finish: Filled and compacted with a clean 20mm granite gravel finish, leaving a durable, low-maintenance path that blends seamlessly into the landscape

We recently completed a comprehensive excavation and site preparation project for a local client. Our team handled the transition from old structures to new foundations with precision and efficiency.

- The Scope of Work
• Demolition & Site Clearance: Removed the existing conservatory base and footings. We also cleared the site of two stubborn tree stumps to ensure a clean slate.
• Excavation: Reduced ground levels across the site and dug the new footings according to the extension specifications.
• Compliance: Managed the process through to the Building Control sign-off, ensuring all excavations met safety and structural standards.
• Concrete Pour: As an additional service to help the client's timeline, we supplied and leveled the concrete for the new footings.

- Key Partnerships
A big thank you to Plymcrete Southwest Ltd for the assist. Their 24m boom pump made the concrete pour incredibly efficient, allowing us to hit the levels perfectly even in tight spots.

- The Result
The project ran seamlessly from start to finish. We have now handed the site back to a very happy client, fully prepared and ready for them to begin the build up to DPC (Damp Proof Course).
