Our Jekko UK spider crane earning its keep on a recent job at this country property.

The existing borehole pump was lifted out so that it could be replaced, along with the old galvanised rising main, which was upgraded to PVC pipe from Boode Water Well Systems (UK ).

Working at properties like this often means dealing with restricted access and established gardens and landscaping. The compact footprint and lifting capability of the Jekko allows our engineers to carry out the work safely and efficiently, while keeping disruption to the surrounding property to a minimum.

Another borehole system upgraded and ready to provide a reliable water supply for years to come.

A successful borehole is only part of the story. Getting water to where it's needed requires the right pumping equipment, installed correctly and built to perform for years to come.

Here, our team is installing a Grundfos SP60 borehole pump using our new Massenza MI20 drilling rig. The MI20 gives us the capability to safely handle larger pumps and equipment, making installations more efficient whilst maintaining the high standards our engineers expect on site.

Every borehole is different. Pump selection depends on factors such as borehole depth, water level, required flow rate and the demands of the property or business it will serve. Choosing the correct pump is essential for long-term reliability, efficiency and performance.

From drilling the borehole to installing the pump, pipework, controls and any required water treatment, we provide a complete in-house solution from a single team.

If you're considering a private water supply for your farm, estate, business or home, we'd be happy to talk you through the options.

Installing a borehole is only part of the story.

Getting the water from the borehole to where it's needed requires careful planning, the right equipment and an experienced team.

Our Vermeer RTX1250 trencher/plough has been busy installing new underground water pipework, providing reliable connections for farms, estates and commercial sites. By ploughing pipework directly into the ground, we can install long runs efficiently while keeping surface disruption to a minimum.

As with all of our projects, we carry out the work using our own specialist machinery and engineers, allowing us to deliver a complete turnkey solution, from drilling the borehole through to the finished water supply system.

Whether it's a new installation or extending an existing network, we're equipped to get the job done.

After all the hard work of drilling a new borehole, this is often all you'll ever see; a simple manhole cover.

But beneath it lies a reliable, independent water supply designed to serve the property for decades.

This recent domestic installation included the borehole, pumping equipment, pressure system and water treatment, providing the client with a complete turnkey solution from a single team.

The visible part of a borehole system may be modest, but it's everything below ground (and the engineering behind the scenes) that makes the difference.

If you're considering a private water supply for your home, farm or estate, we'd be happy to talk you through the process.

A recent pump replacement completed for a pig farm in Oxfordshire.

This 60-metre-deep borehole required the installation of a new Grundfos pump together with a new Boode UK rising main, all safely lifted and installed using our Unimog-mounted crane.

Whilst a borehole itself can last for many decades, the pumping equipment works hard every day and will eventually need replacing. Carrying out planned upgrades helps maintain a reliable water supply, minimise downtime and keep essential operations running smoothly.

For agricultural businesses, a dependable water supply isn't a luxury, it's critical to day-to-day operations. Whether it's a new installation, routine servicing or an emergency pump replacement, our team has the equipment and experience to get the job done efficiently.

If you'd like to discuss your borehole, pumping system or water supply, we'd be happy to help.

Keeping water moving, even when the ground is at its driest.

Summer is one of our busiest times for installing new water pipelines across farms, estates and rural properties.

Our Vermeer RTX1250 is designed to install pipework efficiently while minimising disruption to the surrounding land, helping us deliver reliable water infrastructure where it's needed most.

Whether it's supplying livestock, irrigation systems, private water supplies or estate networks, every pipeline is installed with the same focus on quality, longevity and reliability.

With our own specialist machinery and experienced in-house engineers, we manage projects from start to finish, ensuring every installation is built to perform for years to come.

If you're planning a new water supply or pipeline installation, we'd be happy to discuss your project.

Not every photo we share has to be from the middle of a job...

One of our engineers snapped this on a recent trip across the River Orwell near Ipswich, with the Whatley van parked beneath the impressive Orwell Bridge.

Our teams spend thousands of miles each year travelling to farms, estates, businesses and homes across the UK, helping clients with boreholes, pumping systems, water treatment and pipeline installations.

Sometimes it's worth taking a moment to appreciate where the job takes you.

It's certainly not a bad office for the evening.

Hard to believe we're already at the halfway point of the year. It's absolutely flown by!

The longer days seem to be passing even quicker, and we're certainly not complaining about the extra daylight on site. Here's hoping the sunshine sticks around for a while yet.

It's also been a busy first half of the year for us, with the team working across a wide range of projects, locations and sectors. From water wells and boreholes through to water treatment systems and specialist drilling works, we've been kept on our toes with plenty happening both on and off site.

We've also continued investing in the business, bringing new equipment into the fleet and expanding our business to ensure we're delivering the best possible service for our clients.

As always, the focus has been on doing good work, supporting our clients and keeping projects moving safely and efficiently.

Here are a few highlights from the first half of the year...

There's something satisfying about seeing a project come together from start to finish!

This recently completed water treatment system was installed to support a borehole water supply, transforming raw groundwater into a clean, reliable water source for the property.

While drilling the borehole is a key part of the process, it's often the treatment system behind the scenes that ensures the water meets the quality requirements of the end user. Depending on the water chemistry, this can involve removing iron, manganese, hardness, sediment and other naturally occurring elements found within groundwater.

Every borehole is different, which is why water testing and system design are so important. The right treatment solution helps maximise water quality, protect equipment and provide a dependable supply for years to come.

It's always rewarding to see the finished result and know the client now has a fully operational water supply system tailored to their needs.
