As well as a busy summer of project submissions, permissions and constructions, we have also enjoyed office outings to the beautiful New Temple Complex of the White Eagle Lodge in Hampshire and the impressive Battersea Power Station and Ballymore's Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms development.

We have also been making the most of our garden and the summer sun with our office BBQs.

A Reserved Matters Application has been submitted to the South Downs National Park for 51,000 sq. feet (4730sq. metres) of employment floor space at Buckmore Farm North.

From the outset a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) was central to the overall layout. This was designed to manage the stormwater close to its source, to mimic natural drainage and encourage its infiltration and attenuation.

The team has developed the appearance of the buildings to reference the local rural vernacular whilst introducing contemporary design and materials to provide an simple and restrained response.

Detailed planning permission has been granted for the transformation of a traditional stone and cob Devon barn into a stunning country home. Full use has been made of the gently sloping site with spectacular views out onto the surrounding rolling landscape. Within the overall volume of the barn there are a variety of stepping floor plains that interlink and connect with the garden terraces. The original stone plinth and retained areas of cob walling are subtly integrated into the reconfigured elevations creating a pleasing composition of traditional and contemporary details and materials.
