Meet Kara.

Kara has spent the summer here at Steadfast supporting across multiple areas of the Group to gain work experience.

Supporting the administration and marketing teams, Kara has been able to see first-hand how The Steadfast Security Group continues to support its customers across the region.

She said, “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Steadfast – I’ve been able to work on different projects and learned a lot of new skills. The best part has been working with the people here – everyone gets along really well and the whole experience has really helped my confidence too”.

Service Delivery Manager, Emma McDonald said; “Kara has been a fantastic asset to the team over the summer. Now as she’s looking for a full-time role in admin or operations, we are sad to see her go! Thank you for your hard work, Kara”.

Kara is completing her placement with Steadfast this week, and is turning 18 too! With such a significant week ahead, we are sure that you will join us in wishing Kara the very best in her next steps – and many happy returns for her big birthday too!

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

At Steadfast, we are aiming to create an environment that allows people to talk easily, when they need to. Unfortunately, for many others - they don't have that safe space.

Congratulations to Demi on her 3-Year Work Anniversary!

This month, we're delighted to recognise Demi, our Control Room Supervisor, for reaching an important milestone with The Steadfast Group.

Over the past three years, Demi has grown from Control Room Operator to Supervisor, becoming a key member of our operations team. Her responsibilities now include supporting our security officers, overseeing leave management, enhancing team communication, and helping deliver an annual rota system that has improved operational visibility and workforce planning across the Group.

David Cameron, Security Operations Manager, commented: "Demi is an asset to the business. She is a vital cog within the Steadfast team and has great potential to continue progressing through the Group over the coming years."

Reflecting on her journey, Demi shared: "It's been a rollercoaster three years, but I've enjoyed all aspects of my role, even the challenging parts."

Thank you for your hard work, commitment, and positive contribution, Demi. We look forward to seeing what the future holds.

This weekend, Team Ollie sets out to complete their Coast to Coast challenge!

To mark this fantastic effort - especially in light of the weather forecast - we are incredibly proud to announce our donation to the cause.

Our MD, Paul Harbord said, "Steadfast Security Group is proud to support Ricky Osborn and the team as they take on an incredible charity bike ride from the West Coast of England to South Shields, before continuing on to Peterlee Catholic Club, covering approximately 140 miles in support of Epilepsy Research Institute UK.

As part of our commitment to supporting local communities and worthwhile causes, Steadfast has donated £500 towards the challenge and will also be providing support vehicles throughout the event.

Our Operations Manager, Ricky Osborn, is leading the ride. Over the years, Ricky has helped raise close to £100,000 through various charity events and fundraising challenges in support of epilepsy causes, and we are delighted to support him and the wider team once again.

We would encourage anyone who can to get behind the challenge, help spread awareness, and support the fantastic work being done for epilepsy charities and those affected by the condition."
