🤍 When the laminate starts failing, does the kitchen need replacing?
Not necessarily.
This kitchen is a great example.
The existing laminate/coating had started to fail and was peeling away in several areas. Once that happens, simply painting over it isn’t the answer — the failing material needs to be dealt with properly first.
For this kitchen, we stripped the existing finish right back to the MDF, prepared the doors and panels, and then refinished everything in a brilliant white.
The result? 👇
A completely fresh-looking kitchen, without replacing the cabinets, worktops or layout.
This is one of the biggest advantages of professional kitchen refinishing.
If the existing finish is tired, damaged or failing, don’t automatically assume the whole kitchen needs ripping out.
Sometimes there’s a lot more that can be done with what you’ve already got.
