Got called to a LPG gas hob not working
Found out the install was fitted by someone claiming to be gas safe but they where not a registered engineer.
The installation was left with a gas leak
And not fitted to regulations and for some reason they lagged the gas pipe and all the fittings on the pipe were not fitted correctly. They charge a lot of money for a dangerous installation
And now have to pay for it all to be fitted correctly again
Always make sure you ask to see engineers gas safe card or check the gas safe register on line
