We’ve been a little quiet on Facebook recently…
You might think it’s because workloads have increased and we’ve been busy delivering projects.
Truth be told, we’ve actually been working on something far more important…
Saving the planet. 🌍
Behind the scenes, the QCS R&D department has been exploring how we can move away from the traditional white van and find a more sustainable way of getting our engineers, tools and materials to site.
After literally minutes of extensive research and development, we’ve narrowed it down to two options:
🚲 Option A – The QCS Cargo Bike
Solar powered. Zero emissions. 6m Unistrut storage. Cable drums. Control panels. Ladders. Tools.
We’re still waiting for clarification on whether the manufacturer’s payload limit is a recommendation or actually important.
🪨 Option B – The Flintstones Fleet
Sometimes the best way to move forward is to look backwards.
No batteries.
No charging infrastructure.
No range anxiety.
No emissions.
Maybe Fred was just ahead of his time.
Our Director Lee Quince wants to know which option we should adopt for the QCS fleet going forward.
So, LinkedIn — which gets your vote?
🅰️ Cargo bike – embrace the future
🅱️ Flintstones – turns out Fred knew something we didn’t
Voted and suggestions in the comments please.
And A1 Signs, once the results are in, we might need a cost for branding up the new fleet.
Although Option B might require a slightly different vinyl application technique…
