☀️ THINKING ABOUT SOLAR? THERE'S NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE.
Yet another change to household energy prices is being talked about, and attention is already turning to January.
Cornwall Insight is forecasting that the energy price cap could rise by around 16% from January 2027, taking the typical dual-fuel figure from £1,723 to around £1,999 a year.
16% is a forecast, not a confirmed increase.
But there's an old saying: there's no smoke without fire.
If you're already considering solar for your home, perhaps the more useful question isn't exactly what your next energy bill will be.
It's how much of the electricity your home needs could you produce, use and potentially store yourself?
That's where a good solar design starts.
🐦 Even the pigeons need thinking about.
The bird protection in the photograph is just one of the options worth considering when planning your system. Good solar design means thinking ahead.
For more than 15 years, when I visited homeowners considering solar, we'd start by talking about what they wanted their system to achieve.
I've had that conversation more than 7,400 times.
Our online Solar Requirements form is simply a modern version of that same conversation.
