Another busy week wrapped up just in time for the weekend! 🛠️🪵

We’ve had a productive couple of days tackling a mix of custom fencing and gate installations across the area:

1️⃣ Quick Side Access Gate Replacement

Installed a sturdy, custom-fitted wooden gate to secure a narrow side alleyway, complete with fresh posts and heavy-duty ironmongery.

2️⃣ DuraPost Fencing & Dog-Proof Gate

Set up sleek DuraPost composite fencing paired with a custom low-profile gate designed specifically to keep dogs secure in the garden. By smartly utilizing leftover materials on-site, we helped the customer save on costs without compromising on quality or strength! 🐕💪

3️⃣ Custom Tongue & Groove Driveway Gates

Handcrafted and fitted a beautiful pair of full-height T&G driveway gates, giving the property maximum privacy, security, and curb appeal.

4️⃣ 10-Metre Feather Edge Fence Run

Constructed a clean, durable 10m run of closeboard/feather edge fencing to finish off the garden boundary.

We are heading into the final stretch on this comprehensive garden fencing project, with the bulk of the installation now standing strong and level.

The Build: Over 30 metres of slotted concrete posts paired with heavy-duty gravel boards and treated closeboard (featheredge) panels, completely enclosing the garden perimeter for enhanced privacy and structural durability.

A busy few days across Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, completing high-quality fencing, bespoke gates, and boundary upgrades for three different properties:

1. Cambridge – Storm Damage Repair & Boundary Security

The Problem: An old, failing feather-edge run between alleyways had completely collapsed, leaving the side access insecure and cluttered.

The Solution: Fully stripped out and cleared the damaged timber. Installed a fresh, sturdy closeboard fence line paired with a heavy-duty, framed, ledged, and braced timber side gate fitted with traditional ring-latch hardware to restore clean sightlines and total security.

2. Ely – Full Height Boundary Fencing & Integrated Side Gate

The Project: Creating a clean, secure barrier dividing the front driveway from the private rear patio garden.

The Solution: Constructed a run of pressure-treated feather-edge fencing complete with timber gravel boards for ground clearance and rot protection. Finished with a matching, seamless closeboard side gate to enclose the courtyard patio while maintaining easy access to the drive.

3. Gedney Hill – Custom Courtyard Partition & Picket Gate

The Project: Sectioning off a timber-clad outbuilding and patio area without cutting off light or open-air feel.

The Solution: Designed and installed a stepped partition combining solid closeboard fencing with an open-slat, braced timber picket gate. Sits neatly against the paving and water harvesting setup, keeping the outdoor living space zoned, practical, and pet-safe.

Glendale Property Maintenance Ltd — your trusted local specialists for all fencing and landscaping services. All timber is pressure-treated for long-term weather resistance and built on-site to fit your property's exact layout and levels.
