Due to a huge increase in our workload, we are looking to recruit for our fencing squads based in the central belt!!
No experience is necessarily required as full training and support will be provided and we would also welcome applications from experienced hill fencers. However, this job is not for the faint hearted as you will need to work in all weathers, at times have to walk out steep hills just to get to the job and occasionally work and stay away from home. You will also need to have your own reliable transport to get to meeting points and enjoy working in a team environment.
Upland fencing is a hard but an enjoyable and well paid profession for the right candidates, so if you would like to join us, please DM us or email [email protected].

When the TV cameras turn up on the job....
The Grey Mares Tail fencing and path works is fair getting a bit of media attention. These pictures don't do justice ro just how steep that section is!

900m of stock fence realignment in Invernessshire as the original line was being swept away with the rising river levels. It was a wet, dreich day the day these photos were taken, just another Scottish summers day!

So after a couple of false starts the weather gods were kind to us on Thursday morning and we were able to fly the materials out for a wee job for The National Trust of Scotland down in the Moffat Hills.
Fencing at nearly 3000ft above sea level has its own logistical challenges.

Hopefully we'll get the materials out this morning. Not mentioned by name in the piece featured on the ITV Borders News, but delighted to be chosen by The National Trust of Scotland to carry out the fencing on this project.

Earlier this week, we were scoping out a job do be done later in the year. Another remote site involving a walk out with spectacular views with the goats for company!

Huge congratulations to one of our subcontractors M&A Fencing who yesterday won the Scotsheep Fencing Competition 2024!
The boys have carried out some excellent work for us since they took the huge step into self employment back in 2022, and we look forward to working with them again soon. We'll done Mark and Aarron, who represented M&A in the competition.

After flying the materials out a couple of weeks ago, it's full steam ahead for the team out in a very remote regeneration site near Achnasheen. The site is just above a very interesting and fantastic feat of 1950's hydro electric engineering. This pipeline snakes along the glen for a good few miles, feeding a local dam. Very changeable weather today, 5c at midday in June!

We continue.....Getting through one of our large scale contracts in The Borders. On to some of the steep sections of the project. A lot of hard work and good machine work by the team to get to these bits!
