WE’RE HIRING – PLUMIS SMARTSCAN HYDRA WATERMIST TECHNICIAN
We’re looking for someone practical, technically minded and enthusiastic to join our team in Perth.
You don’t need previous Plumis experience, and you don’t need to be a qualified plumber or electrician — full training will be provided.
What we are looking for is someone who:
- Enjoys hands-on work
- Picks things up quickly
- Is comfortable using tablets and modern technology
- Is reliable and keen to learn
- Takes pride in their work
- Is friendly, confident and professional with customers
- Is happy to travel throughout Scotland
This is a full-time, permanent role with specialist manufacturer training and long-term development.
You’ll be trained to install, commission, service and maintain Plumis Smartscan Hydra fire-suppression systems.
Based in Perth
Travel throughout Scotland
Competitive salary depending on experience
Full UK driving licence required

🦄 WANTED: OUR NEXT UNICORN ENGINEER 🦄

Apparently they don’t exist.

We’re pretty sure they do.

Unite is looking for a genuinely multi-skilled engineer who takes pride in their work, can think for themselves, looks after customers properly and doesn’t want to feel like just another number.

Ideally, our unicorn will have experience across several of the following:

🔥 Fire alarm systems
🔐 Intruder alarms
📹 CCTV
🚪 Access control
⚙️ Automatic doors / door automation
🌐 IP & networked systems
⚡ Electrical qualifications or experience would be a major advantage

You don’t need to tick every box — but you do need to be technically capable, reliable, willing to learn and able to work as part of a close-knit team.

The important bit: our work takes us across Scotland, the Highlands and Islands and sometimes further afield.

➡️ Working away and staying away when required is essential.
➡️ Overtime will sometimes be required.
➡️ A full driving licence is essential.
➡️ No “Monday Club”. Reliability matters.

We work in some incredible locations, with great clients and on projects that aren’t your everyday 9-to-5 engineering jobs.

We’re not putting a generic salary figure on this advert.
