Today was about helping Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust collect trees! Our little volunteer, Mila, helped by directing and encouraging.

We had a lovely day and was even more lovely giving a helping hand to a charity that we are involved with so closely. After the long cancer journey and then sadly the death of our daughter, Lily, the charity have been with us every step of the way.

The work they do is simply invaluable and we can never thank them enough. But we hope giving our time and muscles has helped them in their fight to raise awareness and funds.

The Chapman’s are starting the new year out by volunteering for Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust’s Christmas tree collection service. If you have a Christmas tree that needs disposing of, for a small donation to the charity, please have a look on their page for more details.

We are volunteering for the second year in a row to collect 2022’s Xmas trees! Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust have been there for us from the beginning of our daughters journey and continue to support us 2 years after her passing.

What better way to help the future of childhood cancer than to simply pop your Xmas tree outside and let us take it from you for a donation to the charity. No mess, no fuss! Book early though! 🦋🐞

🎄 📢 Registration for our 2023 Christmas treecycling campaign is now open! 📢 🎄

Let our festive volunteers take the hassle out of disposing of your real Christmas tree once the festivities are over.

No wrestling the tree into the car, no messy needles afterwards, just leave it outside your house on the designated day for collection and we will pick it up and take it to be recycled ♻️

Less hassle for you, good for the environment and it supports our fights against childhood cancer - If not reused or recycled, trees can end up in landfill which is costly to both the environment and the taxpayer, with the cost of landfilling eight million trees being around £22 million!

Our wonderful volunteers will be heading out across Worcestershire from Wednesday 11th January right through to Saturday 14th January.
