With the summer holidays coming to a close, this may be a good time to get your electrics checked as we head towards the autumn season.

Electrical installation condition report (EICR) ensures your electrical system has been comprehensively tested for any faults in your property, from the consumer unit to sockets.

⚡️Residential properties do not legally require an EICR, however it is advised to do this every 10 years for your own safety and to satisfy property insurance should there be a faulty system.

⚡️ Residential properties for holiday home use or rental require an EICR every 5 years.

⚡️ Commercial properties require 5 yearly EICR depending on use.
