Moorvue Rural Centre Day centre for adults with learning difficulties/ special needs. Respite available. Moorvue is run by husband and wife team Stephen and Nicola Cock.

They have been doing so for over 11 years and really enjoy their work, finding it stimulating and rewarding working as a team with the clients on their 220 acre farm on the outskirts of Penzance. Their hope is that clients feel the same way too. Accreditation
Moorvue has been awarded a band B as an Approved Providers by the Department of Adult Social Care/Cornwall County Council (O=poor A=excelle

nt). The whole team are very proud of this and continually work hard to maintain this high standard and to improve where possible. We regularly monitor and evaluate our service to ensure the quality of the care. Staffing
All staff and volunteers at Moorvue are DBS checked, suitably qualified and undertake regular training to stay current in their skills and practices. The team have a wide range of experience and are dedicated to help make Moorvue the best experience possible for all our clients, staff and volunteers. Staffing to client ratios are ALWAYS appropriate to the client needs. Partner Organisations
We work with Cornwall College who are able to offer our students optional qualifications and certification while they are taking part in activities at the centre. The Site
The facilites are surrounded by a variety of hard and soft landscaping. Students have daily opportunities to work around the farm as an alternative to structured lessons and enjoy helping to make the surrouning areas attractive.
