There has been a lot of arranging going on this week. But mainly in shades of pink and orange 🍊

Oh yes and my latest fab find on Ebay. Dutch flower buckets, a real game changer for transporting flowers from Lima to Firth Flock Flowers. 🪣💦

One of my favourite Sumner garden visitors. There is always something very exciting about seeing a Humming Bird Hawk Moth. Their wings beating 80 times a second and feeding using a long proboscis. They favour tubular shaped flowers, so at Lima they can be seen feeding on the Verbena and the Salvias.
They are absolutely loving the hot weather!

It was a pleasure to host the volunteers from Nant Clwyd Y Dre this week. The group enjoyed a talk about the history of the garden and what we do here today. It's brilliant to meet like minded people who are so enthusiastic about plants and gardening.
There is even talk of a working party visit in the autumn. Let's hope we can bribe them with lunch, you have been warned ! They loved the cake you provided for their visit 🤣
