We’ve been making the most of the Sunday traffic and getting some of our new leaflets out across the county.

We’re trying to spread the word about just how much we actually do at Pembrokeshire Powder Coating, from gates and railings to alloy wheels, car and motorcycle parts, furniture, agricultural and industrial work, and plenty more.

Remember yesterday’s cast iron fireplace? Here’s the finished result! 👀

From an old, tired finish to a fresh black, completely transforming this decorative cast iron fireplace surround while keeping all of that stunning original detail.

Something a little different in the blast room today… 👀

This cast iron fireplace surround came to us ready for a complete refresh.

First job was abrasive blasting to remove the old finish and take it back ready for its new coating!

There's something very satisfying about watching years of old finish disappear!

We'll show you the finished result tomorrow 🥳

Our campervan step was looking a bit worse for wear....sandblast, zinc primer, matching topcoat, and aluminium custom made treads coated in anti slip textured coating.

When people ask...how much to powdercoat my garden furniture? What they are actually getting is a furniture restoration most of the time. The process is thorough, and designed to be, a lot of the time, better than original...
The process...
1. Full sandblast for paint, rust and contamination removal
2. Into oven at 220c for an hour in bare metal to remove all trapped gasses and contamination
3. Anti corrosion primer.....then back into the oven to reach 180c metal temperature
4. Out of oven to cool followed by application of architectural grade topcoat...
5. Back in the oven for items to reach 180-200c metal temperature for 10-15 minutes to fully cure all coatings
6. Reassemble if needed with new bolts, nuts etc
This furniture in particular was collected, restored in a lovely ral 9001 shade, then delivered back to a happy customer to enjoy for years to come 😀 👌
