What happens to the waste from our rewires and work in homes or offices?

When we generate small amounts of waste, we bag it up and take it back to our container, where it is stored ready for collection.

For larger quantities, we use a trusted third-party waste collection service to ensure everything is handled responsibly and in accordance with the law.

We are licensed by the Environment Agency as an Upper Tier Waste Carrier and subcontract our waste collections to Kane from BinIt4U. They help ensure that waste is properly sorted and recycled wherever possible, including cables, cardboard and rubble, as well as handling hazardous waste such as batteries from emergency lighting.

It’s a combined effort between our team and our waste partners to make sure we protect the environment, recycle wherever possible and comply with all relevant waste regulations.

Doing the job properly doesn’t stop when we leave your property — it includes making sure the waste we create is dealt with responsibly.

The apprentice has the moral high ground today! 😂

Both his boss and mentor managed to arrive on site late — despite the fact we drum timekeeping into our apprentices all the time!

Kudos to Josh, though. His timekeeping is excellent, and his banter is clearly on point too. He even sent his mentor back to the van to “get the bits” because he was late! 😂

Poor timekeeping is one of the biggest complaints employers have about apprentices nationally, so it’s great to see Josh setting the standard. Keep it up, mate! 👏⚡
