🔨 Salon Project Update – in the home town Johnstone 💇‍♀️⚫️🟢

Another update from our salon project in Johnstone, and we’re making really good progress! 👌

The timber work is coming together nicely and we’re getting everything prepared for the next stage. Unfortunately, we’ve hit a slight delay with the electrics being upgraded, which means we’re unable to get the walls sheeted just yet.

These things can happen on a project, but we’re keeping things moving wherever we can and will be ready to crack on with the next stage as soon as the electrical work is completed. 💪

It’s already starting to take shape, and we’re looking forward to seeing this one come together! 🔨✨

Job Complete — Oak Door Upgrade 🟢⚫️

Another job complete in Johnstone 🏡🔨

This one was a proper transformation, with 13 new oak doors fitted throughout the property, including several oak glazed doors and a stunning set of internal oak glazed double doors to really finish the space off.

The natural oak brings a warm, timeless feel to the home, while the glazed doors help open up the rooms and allow more light to flow through the property. 😍

We also boxed in an old electrical cupboard, giving it a much cleaner and more finished appearance and helping everything blend seamlessly into the surrounding space.

This job definitely came with its challenges! 🌧️💨
We had to battle some seriously unpredictable wind and rain, along with door frames that were awkwardly sized and, in some cases, well and truly out of shape.

But that’s all part of the job — measuring, adjusting, scribing and making sure everything fits and finishes exactly as it should. 💪🔨

Despite the challenges, we’re really pleased with the end result. 13 doors fitted, glazed double doors installed, an old electrical cupboard boxed in, and another job finished to our usual standard. 🟢⚫️

🔥🟢⚫️ Job Complete – Bespoke Oak Staircase Transformation in Renfrew 🔥🟢⚫️

Another fantastic transformation completed in Renfrew, this time giving an existing staircase a complete upgrade with a stunning oak-cladded finish, new spindles and bespoke oak handrails 👌🟢

Working alongside RVE Property Maintenance, we’ve completely transformed this staircase, taking it from a tired and dated feature into a modern, stylish focal point within the home 😍⚫️

The existing staircase was carefully cladded in oak, creating a premium finish while adding warmth, character and a timeless feel to the space 🟢✨

To complete the transformation, we installed new spindles and oak handrails, giving the staircase a fresh, contemporary look while maintaining clean lines and a high-quality finish from top to bottom 🔥⚫️

Every section was carefully measured, cut and fitted to ensure everything flowed perfectly together, with particular attention to the details around the steps, risers, spindles and handrails 👌🟢

The combination of the natural oak, new spindles and solid handrails has completely changed the look and feel of the staircase, creating a much more modern and luxurious entrance to the home 😍⚫️

A great project to be involved in alongside RVE Property Maintenance, and we’re delighted with how the finished staircase has turned out 💪🟢

🔥🟢⚫️ Another Happy Customer — This Is What It’s All About! 🟢⚫️🔥

Trust is one of the most important things in this industry. It’s not just about us trusting our customers to pay on time — it’s about you trusting us with your project, your money and, most importantly, your home.

Unfortunately, this customer had previously paid a substantial deposit to another company, only to be met with excuses and missed appointments. That’s understandably frustrating and can make it difficult to trust another company moving forward.

At Built By Beards, we pride ourselves on doing things differently. When we say we’ll be there, we turn up. When we commit to a project, we see it through. And when we take on a job, we aim to deliver nothing but the highest standard of workmanship.

Every project matters to us, whether it’s big or small, and customer satisfaction will always be at the heart of what we do.

Another happy customer, another job completed to the highest standard, our reviews speak for themselves! 💪🟢⚫️

🔥🟢⚫️ Job Complete – New Timber Fencing Installation in Johnstone 🔥🟢⚫️

Another fantastic project completed recently in Johnstone, completely transforming the boundary of this property with a brand-new timber fencing installation 😍🟢

The existing fencing had seen better days, so we carried out a full removal and disposal before supplying and installing a completely new fence, giving the property a fresh, modern, and secure finish ⚫️✨

To suit both the front and rear of the property, we installed 4ft double-slatted fencing with a handrail to the front, creating a neat and welcoming appearance while maintaining visibility. At the rear, we fitted 6ft double-slatted fencing, providing the customer with increased privacy without compromising on style 👌🟢

The double-slatted design not only looks fantastic from both sides but also offers a clean, contemporary finish that’s built to last. Every section was carefully measured, set out, and installed to ensure a strong, straight, and professional result 💪⚫️

As with all of our fencing projects, this was a full supply-and-fit service, with all materials supplied by MGM timber , allowing us to deliver a hassle-free experience from start to finish 🪵🟢

It’s always satisfying seeing the difference a quality fence can make, instantly improving the appearance, privacy, and security of a home. This one has completely transformed the outside space and is ready to stand the test of time 🔥⚫️

Thinking about replacing your old fence or upgrading your outdoor space? Whether it’s fencing, gates, decking, bespoke joinery, or any other carpentry work, we’d be happy to help. Get in touch for a free quote 📩🟢⚫️

🔥🟢⚫️ Job Complete – Bespoke Media Wall Installation in Greenock 🔥🟢⚫️

Another fantastic project completed recently, transforming this living room with a huge bespoke media wall spanning an incredible 6 metres across the room 😍🟢

Designed and built entirely to suit the space, this full supply-and-fit installation has completely changed what was once a plain wall into a modern focal point that perfectly blends style, storage, and entertainment ⚫️✨

This custom build features a recessed 65” TV with a clean 2” border surround, positioned above a stunning 50” panoramic electric fire, creating the perfect centrepiece for the room 🔥🟢

Although the original TV can still be seen in the progress photos, the new television unfortunately arrived damaged and will be fitted at a later date 👌⚫️

To complement the media wall, we also incorporated a sleek 1m soundbar recess, along with six bespoke alcove boxes, providing plenty of display space while maintaining a clean and contemporary finish 😍🟢

Lighting played a huge part in this project, with 12 dimmable spotlights installed throughout the alcoves and controlled via a dedicated dimmer switch, allowing the customer to create the perfect atmosphere day or night 💡⚫️

For practicality, we fitted two single sockets on each side of the lower shelves, alongside three double sockets hidden behind the TV, ensuring plenty of power for all entertainment devices and accessories 🔌🟢

One of the most rewarding parts of this project was helping these customers after they had unfortunately been let down by somebody else. They initially contacted us after the original tradesman failed to show up and disappeared with a substantial deposit that had been paid, despite being introduced as a family friend.

We were more than happy to step in, put things right, and complete the project for them — all while coming in at a lower price than they had originally been quoted 💪⚫️

We’ll be back in around a week to fit the final back panels, which the customer has chosen to supply themselves, before this incredible media wall is fully complete 👌🟢

A brilliant project to be involved in and one that has completely transformed the room. With the size of the space available, this wall was definitely one of the larger builds we’ve completed recently 😅🔥⚫️

🔥🟢⚫️ Job Complete – Keeping Busy Behind the Scenes 🔥🟢⚫️

We know we’ve been a little quiet on social media recently, but behind the scenes we’ve been working flat out in the heat sorting out the issues left behind by another company and helping a couple who were unfortunately let down. 🟢

We’ll have photos to share from that project very soon, however there has been a delay with some replacement parts after the previous company damaged and disposed of some of the originals, meaning new parts had to be reordered. Despite the setbacks, we’ve been working hard to get everything back on track and deliver the finish our clients deserve. ⚫️

One job we have managed to complete recently was the installation of a brand-new handrail alongside a set of bespoke doors, designed to neatly close off an understair storage area while fitting perfectly into the existing frame. The finished result has completely transformed the space and added both style and practicality. 😍🟢

We’ve also completed a number of other projects over the last few weeks and are just waiting for the painters to finish up so we can get some final photos to share with you all. ✨⚫️

A huge thank you to all of our clients for their patience and continued support while we’ve been busy behind the scenes. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on. 🟢
