When they’re gone, they’re gone! 🪵

We’re discontinuing our round log sleepers, so once our current stock is gone, we won’t be getting any more in.

Their rounded shape gives a softer, more natural look than a square sleeper. They’re a lovely choice for edging paths and borders, building raised beds, or creating a bit of definition between different areas of the garden 🌱

If you’ve had a project in mind, now’s the time to get the sleepers you need!

£24.95 inc VAT each, while stocks last. Pop into our Paisley yard or send us a message to check availability. 😊

📺 Did anyone spot some familiar faces on DIY SOS last night? 👀

We were incredibly proud to play a small part in last night’s episode of DIY SOS: Nell’s Next Chapter, donating some materials to help complete the garden for the Connelly family.

Nick Knowles and the DIY SOS team brought together an amazing army of local tradespeople, suppliers and volunteers to transform the family’s home, creating a much more accessible space where Nell, who uses a wheelchair, can enjoy greater independence.

It was a pretty special project to be involved in, and fantastic to finally see the finished transformation on BBC One last night. 💚

While we do quite a bit for charities and community projects behind the scenes, we tend only to shout about it when a) we need our customers to get behind one of our charity challenges or toy rallies… or b) there’s a chance we might get on the telly! 😂📺

And on that note… if you watch it on Catch Up, watch right to the end and keep your eyes peeled. You might just catch Lisa and Campbell enjoying their very brief moment of TV fame!

A huge well done to everyone involved in making such a brilliant transformation happen. We were delighted that a little bit of Peacock turf could be part of it.

❄️ WINTER IS COMING…

But don’t worry we’ve been busy!

Nicky has been hard at work in our bagging plant, building pallets of salt and getting our stock ready for the colder weather.

Take a look at the video below for a behind the scenes peek on how our maxi bags are filled, sealed and stacked, ready to head out the door! 👀

He’s also been busy filling plenty of bulk bags, so whether you need white salt or brown salt, maxi bags or bulk bags we’ve got you covered this winter. 🧂💪

It might not feel like winter just yet, but we’re getting ahead of the cold and making sure there’s plenty of salt ready when it’s needed.

A little preparation now can make a big difference when the temperature drops! ❄️

One day. One night. One incredible challenge. ⚽️

Tomorrow night, some of the Peacock Turfscape team will kick off a 24-hour Walking Football Match, carrying on right through into Friday!

Walking football sounded like the sensible option… until someone added the other 23 hours and 55 minutes! 😅 We’re expecting sore legs, questionable football skills and enough caffeine to keep a small village awake but it’s all for two brilliant causes.

Don’t worry! the rest of the Turfscape team will be holding the fort, so the shop and yard will remain open and running as usual!

💙 Donations to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity help fund specialist medical equipment, vital research, play programmes and support for young patients and their families.

🐾 Donations to Saving & Rehoming Strays help towards rescuing and caring for dogs in need, including food, veterinary treatment and helping them find loving forever homes.

We’ll be sharing photos and updates from the event although the pictures taken during the final few hours may not be our finest! 😅

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help these charities continue their incredible work and give our players some much-needed motivation to keep the ball rolling for the full 24 hours!

Sown here - Grown here 🌱

It all starts right here! Our team are busy seeding the fields as another growing cycle begins. 🚜

There’s plenty of work that goes into our turf long before it reaches your garden.
From preparing and seeding the fields to months of growing, feeding and caring for it.

Now we just need a little help from the Scottish weather… some sunshine and rain would be ideal! ☀️🌧️😂

🌱One acre. One day. Gone! 🚜

That brown patch beside our harvester? Yesterday morning, it was all lush green turf!

In just one day, we harvested a full acre. Expertly grown, harvested and delivered, making its way into landscaping projects and gardens across Renfrewshire and beyond. 🏡🌱

It might leave our field looking a little bare… but we love knowing there’s a whole acre of fresh Turfscape turf getting laid somewhere else! 💚

Grown locally. Harvested fresh. Delivered to you.

🌱 Another field opened!

In less than a month, we’ve finished cutting in our previous field and have already moved on to the next! 🚜

It’s been a very busy few weeks here and we genuinely couldn’t do it without the continued support of all our customers.

Here’s our harvester getting straight to work cutting fresh turf and building the pallets ready to head out to gardens and projects across Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A huge thank you from all of us at Peacock Turfscape! 💚
