📢 A LITTLE BUSINESS UPDATE FROM WILSON’S LANDSCAPING & GROUNDWORKS LTD 📢

We’ve got some exciting news to share! 🎉

Thanks to the continued support from all of our amazing customers, Wilson’s Landscaping & Groundworks Ltd has grown to the point where we now need to become VAT registered. 🙌

The VAT registration process can take around 40 days, so we wanted to be completely transparent with all of our existing and future customers about what this means.

✅ Any jobs that are already booked in will NOT be charged VAT.

✅ Any new jobs booked during the VAT registration period will also NOT be charged VAT.

📅 Once our VAT registration is complete, VAT will legally need to be added to our prices in accordance with government regulations.

We understand that nobody likes seeing prices increase, and this isn’t something we’ve taken lightly. It is simply the next step for our business as we continue to grow.

Most importantly, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to every single customer who has supported us, recommended us, shared our work, left us reviews, and trusted us with your homes and projects. ❤️

Without your support, Wilson’s Landscaping & Groundworks Ltd simply wouldn’t be where it is today. What started as a business has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of, and we genuinely appreciate every single person who has helped us along the way.

As we’re continuing to grow, I just wanted to take a minute to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey this year.

Running a business is never a one-man job, and none of this would be possible without the people around us. Every job we complete is a team effort, and we’re grateful for every customer, supplier, and local business that’s helped us along the way.

A special shoutout has to go to my two main lads, Chris and Anton. 👏🏻

You boys turn up every day, graft hard, take pride in your work, and always give 100%. I honestly couldn’t do it without you. Cheers, boys – it’s massively appreciated. 🍻

🔥 WOW… What a transformation! 🔥

This one has to be one of our favourite composite decking projects to date.

Our customers in Bridge of Weir decided to go with a black-on-black finish, complete with a 5m staircase, glass balustrade, and a matching composite fence… and we couldn’t agree more with their choice. It looks absolutely incredible! 😍

It’s easy to look at the finished photos and think it’s “just a deck,” but the real work is what you don’t see.

The old timber decking had completely rotted away and was becoming dangerous, so we started from scratch:
💪 Over 47 support posts installed
🪵 Full structural frame built using 5x2 treated timber
🛡️ Every piece of timber wrapped in DPC for extra protection
📏 All dwangs set at 300mm centres for maximum strength
🚜 Old planter removed and over 4 tonnes of soil taken away by Bedrock Plant Hire
♻️ Every bit of waste removed, leaving the garden spotless

The end result is a stunning, safe, low-maintenance outdoor space that this family can enjoy for years to come.

Jobs like this remind us why we love what we do. Seeing a project go from rotten and unsafe to something this beautiful makes all the hard work worthwhile.
