Water popping walnut before the final sand. Dampening the grain raises the wood fibres which opens them up for a much smoother, more even finish once the oil goes on. It takes 2 minutes and makes a huge difference. Don’t skip it

Made 12 propagation stations today from spalted beech 🪴
The black lines you can see are called spalting - a natural process caused by fungal growth in the wood. No two pieces are ever the same. Each one has a glass tube insert perfect for rooting your cuttings in water 🌿 Available now

Built the co****le boards from scratch, painted them black and white, added the Team Bride and Team Groom vinyl with the Cricut -
Then watched them actually get used at the wedding 🖤🤍 Best feeling ever 👌

Part 4 and the final reveal 🪵 Oil finish, velvet lining, laser engraved wedding date and the finished ring box. This box held two wedding rings on the 29th August. I got a shout out in the speeches 🤍
