Oxford Botanical Gardens
to task was working in lower gardens close to marsh borders around both Holly trees 🌳 or Ilex aquifolium cleaning up all wildplants or weeds from the area.
after that DEAR CHARLOTTE time!
when to the allotment finish off cutting out a path around and the future border to my allotment.

BLACKPOOL CIVIC TRUST  WOODLAND PILL BOX TYPE 22 This pillbox (military Bunker) was constructed during the early years of ww2 1940 and was designated as a lookout post to defend the former Stanley park municipal airport which had opened in 1931. The airport was commandeered in 1939 by the royal air force as a technical training school. Wellington Bombers were also assembled there. Hexagonal in shape the pillbox is built with re enforced concrete and stone aggregate and was designed for use by the Military or home guard riflemen. used extensively during the first world war pillboxes were circular in design similar to a pillbox containing tablets prescribed by a chemist hence the name it is estimated that less than 6000 of total of 28000 pillboxes still survive. sponsored by Blackpool Council. WILDFLOWERS AT MARTON MERE NATURE RESERVE  wildflowers from basis of healthy ecosystem for bird, insect and mammals. hereat Marton mere nature reserve, there are many species that used to be common place can you spot any of these in THE WILDFLOWER MEADOW.

Myself today was working with the ancient grain launching, I have a video.What speaks on this in depth of history of the change and development of our narrow days , wheat and Rye barley ect from size to yield disease resistant
And a person we need to thank for this,

task fully Scarifying the other side of wild meadows borders by doing so,
This leaves open pockets of soil ready for to be sow. Increasing the chances of variations of wildflowers reducing the majority of wildflower , which more vigorous or thuggish in its growth when left naturally in nature.

beautiful whether today left me sweating buckets at one stage 🥵 but got blessed by the rain 💧 right time tell me cool down and chill out

task today start with Scarifying the meadow border
manged to complete this task before lunch I did go at running pase doing this 🫣
second task today was pruning malus🍎 in a Espalier trained style keeping cut short & close to last year's growth with focus on fuirt in process with clearer light exposure and overall shape of tree 🌳
3 task of day
joining Barnaby for edging surrounding grass around marsh border, enjoying this time , sharing his visions and future plans of certain areas within the lower gardens.
the final task today was starting off second side of orchard fresh up circling the holes with edging and removing any weeds.
