The job was to tidy the hedges up a bit which proved a lot more demanding than I expected. I keep forgetting I’m getting on a bit 😂. The customer was very pleased with the result which, at the end of the day, is all that matters.

Just a bit of w**ding and a tidy up. As with every garden I’ve worked on recently, bind w**d everywhere.

Another ‘little’ job done! It proved to be a bit of a battle with the enormous BlackBerry bushes. There’s still a lot to remove but the main task was get the rid of the dead trees in amongst it all and get it as level as possible. The two hours planned turned into three 🥵 but my customer was extremely happy ‘not to see’ the trees sticking out of the top anymore.

Another couple of hours reclaiming the flower beds and just having a general tidy up. The job is done for now with the heatwave preventing anything growing! I’ll be back later in the year to carry out some general maintenance and sort out a couple of trees.

A slightly cooler day made the 2 hours a bit easier although the dry ground made the w**ding a bit of a task! I just need to sort out the back of the bed on my next visit before moving onto the next.
The fruit trees aren’t that big so I was surprised at the mount of dropped apples that I found and the trees are still full!!

Something a bit different! One of my regular customers asked me to give her summer house a coat of paint. I spent some time on it each time I attended to do the garden. After today’s visit I think it’s almost done. 👍

First day on a new job, getting the beds back into some sort of order. Plenty of Blackberry, ivy and of course bindw**d throughout. Very pleased with the progress made after only two hours. Back in a couple of weeks to continue the job.
