New Building Regulations will come into effect on 15 June 2022. All the Approved Documents are available on our website on the Downloads page; the link to the page is further below.
According to the 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝: 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝟎𝟏/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 letter, there will be a transitional period.
𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍
9. Approved Documents F (volume 2), L (volumes 1 and 2) and O will come into effect on 15 June 2022. However, they will not apply in relation to building work on a particular building, where a building notice or an initial notice has been given to, or full plans have been deposited with, a local authority, in respect of that building, before 15 June 2022, provided that the building work on that building is started before 15 June 2023.
10. In some cases, applications will be in respect of a number of buildings on a site, for example, a number of houses. In such cases, it is only those individual buildings for which work is commenced which can take advantage of the transitional provisions.
11. With regards to Approved Document S (Infrastructure for Charging Electric Vehicles), the new requirements do not apply in relation to building work where a building notice or an initial notice has been given to, or full plans deposited with, a local authority before 15 June 2022 provided that the building work is started before 15 June 2023.

Apollo Trade Window Store Oxford is currently searching for a 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧/ 𝐕𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 to join our team. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, from 7:30am till 4pm.
We need a hardworking individual with a full clean UK driving license who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his feet. We prize speed, accuracy and tidiness above all else, so we require a responsible and accurate Warehouse Person who can pay careful attention to the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his work before completing a task, and keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and in order. Our company offers a competitive salary. Full induction and training will be given to the right individual.
Main responsibilities:
-Receive deliveries and verify their contents;
-Count and stock products based on inventory control log;
-Identify damaged, lost or missing products and notify the manager immediately;
-Store products in the correct places following the warehouse structure;

We are looking for a bright, friendly, hardworking professional with excellent attention to detail, and a well-developed sense of responsibility. A good knowledge of our products would be an advantage, and the role would suit someone with previous experience in the building/double glazing industry.

Main responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
-Help the Store Manager in day-to-day running the shop;
-Assist customers when necessary;
-Process sales when necessary;
-Prepare orders for customers’ collection and deliveries;
-Maintain and monitor store inventory;

-Ensure that the store is clean, safe and well presented at all times;
-Generate sales reports;

Requirements:
