The Quickcharge and Pod Point partnership.

Founded in 2018, Quickcharge entered into the EV Charging industry quickly signing worldwide contracts with work being undertaken in places such as Saudi Arabia, Spain, France and more 🌎

With a huge shift towards a carbon-neutral future Quickcharge couldn’t expand fast enough, there was work to be done! Being the Nations EV Charging Specialist it only makes sense to work alongside the best. Work with Pod Point started fast and has now seen us install well beyond 30,000 new EV charging points nationwide 📈

Where is the most EV friendly place in the UK? 🗺️

The most EV charge points in the UK are located in Greater London. Greater London is home to around 18,628 EV charge points! ⚡️
This is then followed by the South East with 6,381 EV charge points and Scotland with 4,696 🔌
But you want faster charging? 💨
Last month around 368 Rapid and Ultra-Rapid charge points were installed across the UK. This means as of January 2024 there are now 10,541 Rapid and Ultra-Rapid charge points within the UK.

⏰ We'll confirm the time of our arrival.
📐 Your engineer will find the best spot for your charger.
🧰 Your charger is fixed to the wall, cable is run from the unit to your mains power supply and the charger will be activated for your use. Your engineer will connect your charger to your wi-fi and set up the Pod Point.

The year 2023 saw record growth in the number of EV chargers across the country to support EV drivers on longer journeys 📍

The news stats are showing a year-on-year growth of 45% in the total number of new public chargers installed across the UK. This figure is up from 31% for the years 2021 to 2022 📈

October 2023 saw the UK hit a huge milestone of 50,000 public charge point installations, while having only hit the 40,000 mark in the February of 2023. Along side these installation milestones, a total of around 315,000 pure-electric cars were sold in the UK last year, which is an increase of around 51% more EV’s on the road than the end of 2022! 🔌
