A carpet of Moss isn’t a lovely sight and can dramatically decrease the lifespan of your roof by up to 20 years, during the winter the moss will freeze and expand causing tiles to crack which can lead to water ingress, and don’t think it’s safe because you have a waterproof membrane underneath the tiles, water will eventually rot the membrane, once that happens water will get in causing major internal damp and mold problems, not to mention the costly repair bills to replace part of the roof and any water ingress damage to the plaster and paint work.
We cleaned the whole of this l roof and treated it with biocide to get this roof back up to a good standard, as you can see it looks like new again.
