I’ve taken some inspiration from a recent visit to Steve Taylor’s steve9160 wonderful tropical garden in Northamptonshire. Steve’s garden proved to me that my dream of owning a Gunnera Manicata could become a reality, even in my relatively small garden space. Steve ensures his Gunnera enjoys a constant amount of water by placing a pot inside another larger pot that’s filled with water. This way you can just keep topping up the outer container. Looking forward to seeing this one size up over the coming years.

What a fantastic day yesterday. I was very fortunate to be invited to visit Brenden’s truely beautiful and inspirational garden that is tikitropicals. Watch George’s georgesjunglegarden recent garden tour to get a glimpse of the shear dedication, commitment, and hard work that’s been put in to create this garden. Thank you to Lewis and Nicky Hillside Exotic Gardening for chauffeuring me around all day and making this such a special road trip.
