Traditional oak frames are hand crafted, not the product of a CNC machine programme. Each member is scribed individually to work beautifully with the natural irregularities of the oak. Braces in particular are fitted so that the tenons bear down on the mortices and create actual structural bracing. Here at Oxfordshire Oak Frames we make traditional oak frames.
