At North Oxford Developments, supporting the communities around us is something we genuinely value, so we’re incredibly proud to be sponsoring Stonesfield Strikers u11’s this season.

Grassroots football is about so much more than what happens on the pitch — it’s about teamwork, confidence, friendships and giving young players the opportunity to enjoy being part of a team.

Well underway at East Cliff.

With site set-up complete and the first section of scaffolding signed off, our team has begun the external refurbishment works.

A strong start on site as the first stages of the programme take shape.

Plenty more to come over the coming weeks as works progress across the building.

A complete transformation in the heart of Oxford 🏡

Once a three-bedroom home with a single downstairs bathroom, this Vicarage Road property has been completely reimagined into a beautifully finished four-bedroom, three-bathroom home.

Every level of the property has been transformed, including a new loft conversion creating two additional bedrooms, alongside a rear extension forming a bright, open-plan kitchen and living space with a seamless connection to the garden.

The property was comprehensively upgraded throughout, including new windows and doors and completely renewed electrical and heating systems, with careful attention given to every detail and finish.

Working closely with our client, we brought their vision to life while making the very best use of the property — creating a home that feels considered, cohesive and designed for modern living.

Recently completed in Headington, Oxford 🏡

A look at the external works from one of our recently completed projects, including a substantial new extension providing an additional bedroom and en-suite while carefully retaining the character of the original property.

Careful consideration was given to the existing stonework, rooflines and architectural details, ensuring the new addition sits sympathetically alongside the original building and feels very much part of the home.

A great example of creating valuable additional space while staying true to the character of the original property.

A new project getting underway 🏨

Scaffolding commences tomorrow as we begin an extensive external refurbishment of this hotel. We’re looking forward to getting started on what will be a significant programme of repair and restoration works.

The project will include a range of structural and remedial works, including repairs to existing concrete lintels and steelwork, alongside extensive render repairs, roofing works, and full external preparation and redecoration.

There’s plenty to get stuck into, and we’re looking forward to bringing the building back to its best — carrying out the necessary repairs properly while delivering a high-quality, long-lasting finish.

Looking forward to sharing the progress and transformation as the project takes shape. 🔨🏨

A Complete Cotswold Home Transformation 🏡

We’re delighted to share the completed transformation of this beautiful Cotswold home, following an extensive renovation and two-storey extension delivered by North Oxford Developments.

The project involved a comprehensive reworking of the existing property, with the aim of creating a larger, brighter and more considered family home whilst retaining the character and charm of its Cotswold setting.

On the ground floor, the existing layout was opened up to create a generous open-plan kitchen and dining space, complemented by a new utility room and downstairs shower room. A new staircase transformed the centre of the property and improved the flow between floors, while the additional accommodation upstairs created a spacious new bedroom.

From the initial construction works through to the final finishes, the project was managed and delivered by our team with careful attention to detail at every stage.

Led by James and the NOD team, careful planning and coordination allowed us to maintain a strong focus on quality, programme and budget throughout the build, resulting in a home that feels completely transformed while remaining sympathetic to the character of the original property.

The finished result is a home we’re extremely proud of — and, most importantly, one our clients are delighted to call home.

We’ve been a little quiet on here, but there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes.

It’s been a busy first half of the year at North Oxford Developments, with a number of projects keeping us occupied — so we thought it was about time we shared some of what we’ve been working on.

First up is this full renovation and conversion of a High Street property in Chipping Norton, in the Cotswolds.

Previously a tired and dated Thai restaurant, the property has been completely transformed and reconfigured into two separate spaces — Airbnb accommodation finished to a high standard, alongside a newly refurbished commercial office space.

Here’s a closer look at the Airbnb transformation.

The project included new bathrooms, a renewed kitchen, new heating system, full electrical rewire, new Velux windows and complete redecoration throughout, along with the alterations and remedial works needed to bring the property back to life.

A great transformation and one we’re really pleased to have been part of.
