Another wonderful trip to sunny Surrey for Alan Titchmarsh.
This time we were tasked with building an organic Yorkshire style dry stone wall that would blend seamlessly into his beautiful garden without being too flashy.
The Titchmarsh’s really are such lovely friendly folk. A real joy and privilege to be commissioned to build something so prominent in their garden.
Gorgeous rural area too. Even a few wild ponies knocking about!

Awesome that Alan Titchmarsh really did like the bench we built for him a couple of years ago.
So much, in fact, that he wanted us to travel to his new place and relocate it from the garden of the property he’s recently sold and rebuild it in his beautiful new garden.
And in an extremely prominent part of his delightful garden too! Quite the seal of approval 🫡
The Titchmarsh’s were wonderful hosts again and kept us well fed and watered.

Our latest bridge built to allow access over a small stream at a beautiful golf course in Yorkshire.

This bridge was built entirely without mortar, using traditional building methods.

A combination of reclaimed and newly quarried stone was used and all of it was sourced locally. (Installation of concrete foundations was necessary given the soft ground conditions.)

A timber former was constructed on site and positioned to allow the voussoir stones to be laid over it and then it can be released and removed once the arch is complete.

All of the voussoirs, springers and keystones were shaped on site, by us, from raw blocks of stone.

Great work again from Jack . A great help and fantastic work on the bespoke carvings that are built into the bridge.

The last image is generated using AI which we are finding quite useful and fun for generating conceptual images of our projects.

CEO of Tesco Ken Murphy is taking the miniature version of our dry stone seating area at Tesco Harrogate to Tesco’s head office at Welwyn Garden City, London. 😃
