New Build Progress Update – Final Six Weeks
We’re now into the final six weeks on this development and the transformation over the last couple of months has been massive.
Despite a significant amount of additional work being added throughout the build, we’ve managed to absorb it into the schedule while still pushing toward the same completion deadline.
Both plots are now fully plastered out and we’re moving through second fix joinery, electrics and plumbing. Kitchens and utility areas are due to be fitted over the coming weeks, with tiling works now commencing on site.
Externally, the landscaping, paving and final groundworks are progressing well and the houses are now starting to feel like completed homes rather than construction sites.
The solar installation, glazing and stone detailing have completely transformed the appearance of the build, particularly from the rear elevation where the scale of the project now really comes into its own.
The final stages of any build are always the most intense — coordinating trades, finishes, client changes and deadlines all at once — but that’s where experience, organisation and strong site management make the difference.
A huge amount still to do, but we’re now firmly into the final push toward completion.
