A project with royal connections... and a few familiar downpipes 👀

Royal Pavilion is the focal building of the Duchy of Cornwall’s Poundbury development, overlooking Queen Mother Square which was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 2016

We supplied the project’s Aluminium rainwater products in 2017, ahead of the Pavilion’s opening in 2018:

▪ 150 × 100mm Ogee Gutters in RAL 1013
▪ Downpipes in RAL 6009 – Fir Green

King Charles and Queen Camilla visited Royal Pavilion in 2023. We can’t say whether they noticed the downpipes… but we certainly do 😉

It’s the details that bring a development together. 👌

At Maritime Park in Warsash, we supplied a co-ordinated aluminium package for a new development of homes and apartments beside the River Hamble.

Working closely with Metis Homes and Gable Projects, our contribution included bespoke canopy cladding with an I-beam style fascia and Arrowhead soffits, alongside Crest Copings and Windypods Window Surrounds.

Different products, different jobs - all contributing to the finished look, and doesnt it look amazing 😍

Throwback Thursday takes us to one of Newtown’s best-known buildings - and it has quite a story to tell...

The Royal Welsh Warehouse opened in 1879 beside Newtown railway station. It was home to Pryce Jones’s pioneering mail-order business, sending Welsh textiles to customers far beyond the town.

For the more recent generations, it was also somewhere to go looking for a bargain. Anyone remember shopping there for Christmas presents? 😍

Guttercrest supplied aluminium moulded ogee gutters, traditional round and Georgian rectangular downpipes, and cast hopper heads as part of a refurbishment. Their traditional profiles were chosen to suit the character of this Grade II listed building.

The Outlet has since closed, but the building remains in use - including as home to Newtown’s Fashion and Textiles Academy. A fitting next chapter for a place built on the textile trade.

Four-time champion! 🏆

Huge congratulations to Jason Pritchard and co-driver Phil Clarke on securing the 2026 Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship title.. for the fourth time!!

It's , and we’re looking back at this incredible transformation in Malvern 😍

What a building!

We were proud to play a small part in restoring this beautiful historic family home, recreating its original 19th-century cast-iron guttering and downpipes in Aluminium ☺️

The trickiest part was the curved guttering around that amazing turret. A wooden template and a piece of the original cast-iron gutter were brought to our factory so we could recreate the curve as accurately as possible.

We supplied 12 metres of bespoke curved Guttering, along with half-round Gutters and traditional cast-round downpipes, all finished in RAL 9010 Pure Matt White.

You may have to look closely to spot our contribution, but that was exactly the point - just look at the difference between that before picture and the finished building! 👏

Definitely one we’re proud to have been involved with 👌

This Georgian-style new build features more than 80 metres of our bespoke moulded ogee aluminium guttering in Pure White, manufactured in three different sizes to suit each area of the property.

Contrasting black rectangular downpipes complete the look and turn the rainwater system into part of the design ✔
