**Five months, one bungalow… and quite a transformation! 🏡🔨**

This one has certainly kept us busy.

Over the last five months we’ve been working our way through this bungalow, tackling a refurbishment that has called on pretty much every skill in the toolbox.

There have been plenty of challenges along the way, plenty of problem solving, and more than a few jobs where one thing led to another — but that’s all part of taking on a full property refurbishment.

Seeing everything come together at the end makes all that hard work worthwhile.

I’ve picked out some photos showing some of the journey from where we started to where we are now. There’s been a **huge transformation**, and it’s probably one of the most satisfying projects we’ve completed.

A big thank you as well to Maid by Miya - Cleaning services , who did a fantastic job giving the bungalow its final clean and making sure it was looking its best ready to go on the market. 👏✨

Something a little different for us on this one 👌

A small fencing job, but our first time installing a composite panel fencing system — and we’re really pleased with how it turned out.

The combination of composite boards and decorative panels gives a smart, modern finish, with the added bonus of being low maintenance for the customer.

Another skill added to the list! 🔨

A slightly different day for us today! 🪑🔧

We’ve been helping the team at Nexa Law prepare for their office move, tackling a mountain of flat-pack furniture and getting everything assembled and ready for the new premises.

From battered boxes to something rather more presentable! 😄

This bungalow had been heavily stained after years of a smoky environment, so simply painting over it was never going to give the finish we wanted.

We got stuck in with the preparation, stain-blocking the worst affected areas before decorating right through the property.

The difference was huge — brighter, cleaner and completely refreshed, giving the whole bungalow a new lease of life.

Sometimes it’s the jobs you can’t see in the finished photos — the preparation, stain blocking and getting the surfaces right — that make all the difference to the end result.

Rotten decking out… and a much more usable garden back in. 👌

The existing decking on this job had seen better days — rotten in places, uneven and no longer particularly pleasant or safe to use.

We stripped it back and rebuilt the area, levelling everything up before installing new timber decking along the rear of the property.

We also added a sloped section of decking across the grassy bank, giving much better grip and a more secure route through the garden.

And while we were there…

🍸 A cheeky fold-down gin shelf built into the fence.

Because sometimes it's the little extras that finish a job off perfectly!

Another practical garden improvement that makes a big difference to how the space can be used.

A garden transformation we really enjoyed completing.

This unused sloping bank was excavated to create a sunken patio and seating area, with timber retaining walls and a connecting pathway designed to provide easier disability access.

Quite a bit of groundwork went into this one before a paving slab was ever laid, but seeing the finished area being used made it all worthwhile.

A very satisfying project and a great example of how an awkward part of a garden can be turned into a genuinely useful outdoor space.

It's been an incredibly busy few weeks, so we've got a bit of catching up to do and plenty of recent projects to show you.

A little patio transformation 👌

This old, uneven patio had definitely seen better days, so we lifted the area and created a new paved section alongside the shed, giving the customer a much cleaner and more usable space.

It doesn’t always take a huge project to make a big difference to a garden.

Another job completed in Oswestry. 🔨
