Blue skies and progress on site!

The mixer is on the go, the blocks are going down, and the team are pushing ahead with the final blockwork ready to support our new block and beam floor.

Another big stage of the project coming together nicely, and it’s great to see everything starting to take shape.

TOUCHING BASE WITH THE BIG MAN HIMSELF!

Catching up with the big man himself, Jordan from Kings Landscaping, to see what the boys are up to this week and what’s on the agenda as they continue pushing on with the extension.

The site is really starting to take shape now, with the lads keeping the momentum going and the extension moving forward nicely.

BANK HOLIDAY OVER… BACK TO BUSINESS!

The Bank Holiday weekend is officially done! After a lovely three-day break, the Tranquil team are refreshed, recharged and straight back at it this morning.

It was an early start on site today as we begin preparing everything ready for the next big stage — the new block and beam floor.

No hanging around either, with our guys on site getting everything organised and Jewson delivering the block and beam right on time, ready for us to get cracking.

Now it’s all about making sure the preparation is spot on, levels are checked and everything is exactly where it needs to be before the block and beam starts going down.

It’s another big step forward for the project and once this floor is in, we’ll really start to see things taking shape.

Three-day weekend enjoyed… batteries recharged… now it’s time to get this project moving again! 💪🏗️

😂 3 GUYS, 1 CUP… WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? 😂

The new Tranquil Construction x Kings Landscaping calendar is officially in full swing… and judging by this photoshoot, we’re not entirely sure it should ever see the light of day. 😂

Forget drawings, measurements and Building Control… apparently today’s biggest site decision was who gets to hold the cup and who’s showing the most ankle. 😂

Sometimes you’ve just got to have a laugh on site. It can’t always be serious — although after seeing these three posing, we might need to introduce a new site rule banning cameras altogether.

Rumour has it the calendar will feature 12 months of questionable poses, builder’s tans.

🏗️ TOUCHDOWN IN TRANQUIL TOWN 🏗️

Touchdown in Tranquil Town with Alex and Longs Landscaping as we take a look around site and see how the boys have been cracking on! 👷‍♂️

The blockwork is now going in and starting to take shape, getting everything built up, levelled and ready to take the new block and beam floor.

It’s one of those stages where plenty of work goes into what eventually gets covered up, but getting the foundations and levels right now is what sets the rest of the project up properly.

The boys have been pushing on nicely, and you can really start to see the next stage of the build coming together.

One Site Manager, one Contracts Manager, two electricians, one media guy, one set of drawings, one notebook, a cup of coffee… and apparently a wall strong enough to hold up three members of the team 😂

All gathered around for one of the biggest decisions of the project so far…

Where does the socket go?

Some say it looked like a council job, others say it’s what happens when everyone’s on day rate… we just call it attention to detail 😂

After plenty of pointing, checking the drawings, drinking coffee, staring at the wall and a full team consultation, we can officially confirm…

The world’s most expensive socket location has finally been agreed! 😂

Another major milestone ticked off the programme. Now someone just needs to actually fit it!

As the sites start to take shape… apparently so do the random visitors

Every site gets them, and this week we’ve got Papa Tim — the bloke who’s somehow turned up and decided our rubbish pile looks like the perfect place for a bit of dumpster diving

No hi, no introduction… straight in for a rummage to see what treasures Tranquil might be throwing away!

Anyone in construction knows exactly what we mean… you’ll always get someone who appears from nowhere, has a little look around and suddenly decides they need something from your skip 😂

We all get them… you just learn how to deal with them!

SITE UPDATE – ONE MAN DOWN!

As the site starts to speed up, unfortunately Jordan has had to slow right down thanks to a knee injury! 🦵🤕

For now, Jordan has been forced to take a back seat while Team Kings carry on pushing forward and keeping everything moving on site. 💪🏗️

We’re not sure Jordan is enjoying this whole “sitting back and watching everyone else work” situation… although knowing him, he’ll probably get used to it pretty quickly! 😂

The good news is he’s still keeping a close eye on the lads and making sure everything is being done properly — even if he’s currently doing it from a slightly more comfortable position! 👀😂

And ladies, before anyone starts panicking… Jordan might be out of action for a little while, but don’t worry — it’s only temporary! 😂😂

So for now, plenty of rest, recovery and hopefully not too much sympathy for Jordan while Team Kings keeps the job moving! 👏

Get well soon mate… the site needs you back — and apparently so do the women!

🏗️ CATCH-UP TIME AT ORSETT! 🏗️

It’s been another seriously busy week at our Orsett project, and there’s been plenty happening across site! 👷‍♂️🔨

From deliveries arriving, block and beam going down, steelwork being installed and load-bearing walls taking shape, the project is really starting to move forward and you can see the structure coming together more and more each day.

The block and beam flooring is progressing nicely, giving us a solid base ready for the next stages of the build, while the steelwork and load-bearing walls are all forming the backbone of the new extension and alterations.

There’s also been a constant flow of materials and deliveries coming through the gates — keeping the team busy and making sure we’ve got everything on site to keep pushing forward without slowing down. 🚛💨

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes with a project like this. Every steel, block, beam and measurement has to come together in the right order, and the lads on site have been putting in another great shift this week to keep everything moving.

Another productive week at Orsett and plenty more to come as we continue transforming this property! 🏠🔨

Back for his second season with the Buccaneers is Alex Wickes!🤝

On returning to the Buccs, Alex said “I’m excited to be back with the Buccs for another season! Coming back last year after many years out was a huge challenge, but I loved every minute of it with a great group of lads. After speaking with Scott and hearing his plans for the year ahead, saying yes was an easy decision. Can’t wait to get going again!”

Scott said “Having Alex back on our roster is great for us.
His work ethic and raw competitive drive is exactly what we love about him and adds some size and strength to our D core.
As a coach, you always want players who make everyone around them better. Alex is that guy. He plays with intensity, leads by example.”

This season, Alex will be proudly wearing #62 in special memory of his beloved Mum, Jane, who sadly passed away this summer.
