This World Mental Health Day, we’re highlighting the importance of quieter spaces within the playground. 🌿

Playgrounds don’t always have to be about running, climbing and high-energy play.

Calm and sensory spaces can give children somewhere to slow down, self-regulate, reflect or simply take a moment away from a busy playground.

Creating a balance of active and quieter spaces can help make the playground a more supportive environment for every child. 💚

The new playframe at Larkfield Primary School is already proving a huge hit with the children! 🙌

The school wanted something that would give children plenty of opportunities to swing, climb, spin and even be upside down as part of a sensory circuit, and they've definitely been making the most of it!

There's nothing better than returning to a completed project and seeing it full of children having fun. It was fantastic to see the playframe supporting exactly the kind of active play, confidence and exploration it was designed for.

If you're looking to create more opportunities for active play, movement and sensory development in your playground, get in touch for your free 3D playground design.
